STEGOSAURUS had a small brain, and this one is no exception. Luckily, it doesn't have to worry too much, since it has huge tail spikes and crazy orange back plates.
(steg•oh•SORE•uss) The herbivorous Stegosaurus had a unique skeleton, featuring a very small skull, short forelimbs, and of course those famous back plates and tail spikes. There is evidence that the tail spikes were used as weapons, but the function of the plates was probably mostly for display. Small rounded bones, called "ossicles" helped to protect its neck area.
